Well, after a fabulous start to 2022, the salon busier than ever and weddings back in full swing, it was time to turn my attention to acknowledging the achievement of being in business for ten years!!
They say time flies when your enjoying yourself, and I certainly can't argue with that! There have been some times when I have wondered if it was worth the long days and time away from the family, giving up Saturdays off with them in favour of work, and whilst I admit it has been hard, the overall feeling is that YES it has been worth it! I have a thriving and growing business and the most amazing loyal clients, who continually recommend me to their friends.
Plans were started to celebrate this milestone, however, a pesky little virus had other ideas! After successfully dodging Covid for the last two years, it finally caught up with me, this week, putting the celebrations on ice, for now. Rest assured I will rearrange for another weekend not too far away.
So some might think after 10 years I might put my feet up a little more? Trust me after the last four weeks, the last thing I need is to take it easier , I've had quite enough of sitting about, twiddling my thumbs.
While there are brides to be beautified, brows to perfect, lashes to lift and nails to turn into works of art, this beauty queen is going nowhere!!
Here's to another 10 years?!
